News of the Month:Rally Weekend, September 6-7, marks the beginning of a new church program year for us at Ridgebury Congregational Church. A pot-luck picnic at 3PM on September 6th, will begin the weekend followed by an outdoor Evening Vesper Service. On Sunday the 7th of September, following our 10:00 AM Worship Service, an Ice Cream Social and social hour will be held. As we move beyond Rally Weekend, we look forward to a new season of Saturday Vesper Services and Sunday School Classes. In addition, Confirmation Classes, the start of New Adult Discussion Group(s), and New Member Classes are being planned. For additional information on any of these events contact the church office. TICK ALERT!! TICK ALERT!! There will be a Lyme Disease Prevention Seminar on Tuesday, September 23 at 7:00 pm in Shields Hall. The speaker will be Jennifer Reid from the Ridgefield Health Department. Facts and strategies concerning a disease that is very prevalent in our area will be discussed. The fall is still a high infection time. Any additional questions, please contact the church office. Join us any Saturday for Vespers at 5:00 PM and Sunday for annoucements at 9:55 AM followed by Worship at 10:00 AM. After Sunday Services be sure to make time for coffee and conversation in Shields Hall. We also provide Sunday School and infant care. We are located in northern Ridgefield near the Danbury town line, 2 miles west of the Danbury Fair Mall, and 2 miles south of Interstate 84 (map).
